What it is: Premium eco-friendly domestic cleaning, Oxford. OQVA portfolio. All cleaners Ukrainian refugees. Founded by Christina Nekrylova (from Kharkiv, settled in Summertown 2022).

Goal: 5 Deep Clean bookings per week.

How Bookings Actually Work (confirmed 2026-03-08)

  1. Customer fills booking form → data fires to Firebase
  2. Brevo auto-sends: quote-confirmation → client, quote-notification → Christina
  3. Christina handles everything after manually — scheduling, payment, comms via email/WhatsApp/phone
  4. Admin dashboard, GoCardless step, cleaner portal — build roadmap, not live yet

Gap: No email fires when a cleaner is assigned. Client gets quote-confirmation then silence.

Known Build Issues

  1. GoCardless mandate not created — UI collects bank details, no API call made. Customers believe they've set up DD. They haven't. Remove the step or wire the API.
  2. Booking confirmation email — no trigger when Christina assigns a cleaner. Client goes dark after £295 transaction.
  3. /how-much-is-a-cleaner redirect — may be missing for city-prefixed paths.
  4. robots.ts — no block on /admin/*, /cleaner/*, /api/*.

Technical Work Done

Growth — Priority Order

Do first (free, high-leverage):

  1. Google Business Profile — not found in search results. Create/claim immediately. Add story, photos, services. Email all maintenance clients personally for reviews. Target 15-20 in 2 weeks.
  2. Letting agency outreach — Finders Keepers (9 Oxfordshire offices), Savills, Chancellors, Taylors, Scott Fraser, Amelies, Breckon & Breckon. Email from Christina personally. One relationship = recurring EOT referrals.
  3. Referral programme — email all maintenance clients. £20-25 off for referrer and referee. Personal email from Christina, not a newsletter.

Higher leverage, slightly slower: 4. Removal company partnerships — Whites Removals, Aussie Man & Van Oxford, Bishop's Move. Referral fee £20-30/booking. Highest-intent moment (moving day). 5. Pre-sale clean package — pitch to Savills, Knight Frank, North Oxford Property Services. Less competitive than EOT. Estate agents actively advise sellers to deep clean before viewings. 6. NCT Oxford partnership — new parents are peak deep-clean buyers. Sponsorship or leaflet in antenatal classes. 7. Oxford Mail follow-up story — original 2023 coverage unused. "Three years on" angle is easy press. One article = significant inbound.
